Life in Taylor's!!!!

Hello guys... Here am I right now, writing from The Web of Taylors... Well, it's the computer centre in Taylor's where you get to use the computers and internet for free and forever as long as you are a student here.. Lolx.. Well, well, well.. What have I done so far in Taylor's?? Hmmm.. Lets see.. Let me start off from Day 1 which is Saturday, 11th of July.. I was pretty excited to arrive here for the registration.. As to my surprise, there were many other scholars not only from JPA but MARA, BNM, MOE and YM... There was about more than hundred students where all of us are going to do SAM in Taylor's...

The registration went on well... They had the briefing by the programme director, JPA represantative and the list goes on.. And trust me, it was really very very very cold in the lecture theatre where we were given briefing.. Nothing much about the briefing part.. Well to be frank, it was quite boring.. Haha.. After that, we had our lunch and then we were moved to Casa Subang, the apartment where we are going to stay.. Well, the apartment is ok.. Not too good and not too bad.. The only thing is that we face cockroach disturbance... We killed 50 cockroaches in just one night.. Yes, I know that's a big number but we can't do anything.. They whole family tree was there and we had no other choice than to kill it all.. The Cockroach Combat.. Wohooo!!! The apartment is situated somewhere around Summit which is a very cool thing.. The are other shopping malls around the aparment as well namely MYDIN and GIANT..=P.. I went there with my friends and we always look for the cheapest things ever.. It's true that one of my friend said that, 'Now I know the value of money!!!'.. Lolx.. We have to learn to live in budget as the cost of living in Subang Jaya is quite high...

Hmmm.... Talking about the journey from the apartment to college, it sucks a lot.. For those who are wondering why, it just merely because of the traffic jam... It only takes about 15 minutes of drive from Casa to Taylor's but unfortunately, due to the trafiic jam, it takes around 1/2 hour or even more.. Hence, we have to take bus at 6.15 a.m for 8.00a.m... Hate waking up early in the morning.. Haihzz... Lets just drop this part..

Well the 1st week, starting from the 13th of July to the 17th of July, we had the orientation week.. As all orientation's have, they had briefing, workshops and bla bla bla.. Talk, talk, talk and talk.. But I enjoyed some of the slots.. The third day of the week was fun and interesting as we asked to go to the field for the team building games sessions.. It was really entertaining and we had lots and lots of fun... To be exact, the members of each them got closer and closer during this activity as they have to practise teamwork and so on... They had station games but in the end, they didn't really announce the winning teams.. Well, winning is not important but what matters most is we had fun...=)

The next day (16th of July), we had the EAP test.. We were required to write essay.. I just wrote for the sake of writing as I haven't wrote essays for quite a long time, around 8 months if I'm not mistaken.. The test lasted for 40 minutes and after that we had our group photo taking session... Then they had all the workshops here and there.. Don't know which to mention.. Haha..

Today is the very last day of the orientation week... After this, it's all about a busy life.. Classes are starting on Monday and it's going to be very very hectic and I really hope I can cope with it.. Things are good so far and hope it lasts for another 1.5 years... Lolx.. As for today, we had the group creative presentation.. There were drama, choral speaking, phantomime, sketch. singing, dancing and some others.. We really enjoyed all the presentations as all of them were good... They we had the prize giving ceremony and that denotes the end of the orientation week!! Wohooo!!! Once again, I running out of ideas to write now.. So I'll write more in the future.. See ya!! Chioowzz!!

Excellent, splendid and great!!!

Hey hey hey guys.. I'm back after such a long time.. I was quite busy with things..  God knows with what.. Haha.. Well, actually there are so many things I wanna say but I don't really know how to start.. Lets see.... Hmmmm...  Oh ya.. Let me start of by JPA scholarship since I really don't know what to write..

Talking about JPA scholarship, I managed to secure one.. Haha.. I should and I do consider myself lucky to get it.. I just received my letter the day before yesterday.. And guess what guys, I got Australia.. Haha.. I mean I'll be doing my degree in Australia.. Yay!! My aunt and uncle would be pretty much happy since they are going to migrate there soon.. But before that, I must do my preparatory programme here.. I will be doing..... Jeng jeng jeng.. South Australian Matriculation (SAM) in Taylor University College, Subang Jaya for 1.5 years.. Haha... I really can't wait to start and make new friends.. And the best part, two of my friends will be studying in Petaling Jaya which is quite near to Taylor College, one of my friend in UNITAR and two of my teachers doing Masters in UM.. It's so so so great because I'll be able to meet and hang out with them.. Haha.. People do need a break from studies at times.. Haha.. Apart from that, I must do my medical check up soon.. So much thing under the medical check up.. Haha.. Will be doing that soon.. A lot of things need to be done in one month and without even realising, I'll be in Taylor college.. Haha.. Time flies you see...

Enough about my JPA scholarship... Lets talk about my school's drama team.. Haha.. I was once the dramarian of my school.. Indeed, we are NONESUCH.. No team can ever replace ours.. We were like a family.. So much of memories that I will cherish always.. And this year, most of the students in the drama team are newbies.. Since we all left, the drama team has no life... Its no more lively... Haha.. Perasan lebih..=P.. I went to school for a few weeks and I'm still going to help my teacher to train the students.. Frankly speaking, they are not into their roles.. They are doing just for the sake of doing it.. My teacher will be yelling at them every single day.. Well, I experienced that too actually but we picked up the pace fast... The competition is just around the corner and yet, they are not even done with the whole play.. They still have acted the whole drama continuosly.. The continuity is not there yet.. Not to mention about the props, costumes, time limit and so many things.. Hopefully, they'll make it and win this district level..

Hmmm.. What else... Oh yea.. I'll be going to PWTC tomorrow.. I'm going to attend the MIED ceremony... Hehe... I'll be receiving award or should I say money for my SPM last year.. If I'm not mistaken, he'll be giving off RM 750... Wow! That's a lot of money.. $$$$$.. Hahahhaa... Nothing much about this.. But I can bet that there'll be hundres of people from all over Malaysia..

Still got one more month to spend before I leave for my studies.. So I planned to go out with my friends next week.. We will be going to Jusco and as usual for movies, makan and maybe bowling.. Haha.. But this time, not many will be going since half of my friends have gone for studies.. haihzz.. Missing them and the time spent together.. So emo ready... haha.. Hope we'll be having great time there although not many going.. One of my teacher will be joining.. I mean God knows she will really join or not.. haha.. So bad of me!!=P...

Well, I'm running out of things to write.. Will update all of you soon.. Take care and chiowzzz!! Sayonara!!

Irony of Life...

Hey guys.. I know it had been quite some time I didn't blog.. Actually I was quite occupied these past few weeks and please don't ask what... Well, quite a lot of things happened in my life.. Since the day I took my SPM result till today or yesterday maybe.. Everything is like a hurricane just swirling around in my life..

Well, relating to the topic of this post, indeed everything seem irony.. Everything turned out to be the opposite way.. I'm confused right now with what should I do further.. To be more specific, I don't know which route I should take after this.. There are Form 6, A Level, Matriculation (if i am ever to get it) and maybe JPA scholarship (possibilities of getting this is one in a million).. Haha.. Hmmm... Talking about Form 6, each and everyone is discouraging us from doing it.. They say it's hard (true actually) and if I don't do well, it will be a waste of time.. Therefore, I mite take up A level or Matriculation.. As i said getting a place in matriculation would be a world wonder.. So i'm left with A level.. There is a catch though... Even A Level is not a guarantee that I will get it.. So for now, I will just have to wait and pray.. Oni God knows where I will end up..

I went to JPA scholarship interview.. My interview was held in MBI Ipoh and it was scheduled at 2.45 p.m.. There was around 40 people and everyone was divided into a few panels.. Five people will be sent at one time to be interviewed.. As for me, I was with another 3 chinese girls and a chinese guy.. They were from MGS Ipoh, Ave Maria Convent, SMJK Pei Yuan and the chinese guy was from Selangor.. The interviewers seemed quite serious but somehow they managed to make a joke and calm us down as we were extremely nervous.. I'm sure I dont have to mention why.. First we were asked to introduce ourselves either in English or Malay.. I introduced myself in Malay (my friend, Ruby advised me to do so to show we are Malaysians).. haha.. When we were all done, a discussion was held both in Malay and English.. In English it was about the 'Mat Rempit' which is becoming a national issue and in Malay it was about the Malaysia Education System.. Well I think we did quite well.. How well it was, only the judges knew.. After the discussion was over, we were asked to explain in our own words, why we deserve the scholarship.. I just said whatever that crossed my mind.. haha.. I was so much relieved when it was over... I was so happy and excited as well.. Overall, it was a great experience.. For now, I just have to wait for the results..

The results of the Matriculation will be out on 17th April.. Seriously I'm getting old by waiting.. haha... I'm actually confused on the recognition of the Malaysia Matriculation Certificate.. I don't know whether it is accepted overseas or not.. I'm trying to gain clarification on that.. Some say it is and some say it is not.. I don't know which is true.. If it is accepted overseas, then I think I will go for that (if i get it) because it's my dream to study overseas.. Haha..

School days are definitely the thing i miss the most.. The time i spent with my friends and techers... The memories are just priceless.. Talking about my school days, I got an invitation to attend the 'Hari Anugerah' which will be held on the 11th April.. I'll be getting award for my achievement in SPM.. Haha.. I'm really looking forward to it because I'll be able to see my teachers and friends once again but maybe not all.. Hmmm... I'm running out of ideas actually.. I'll blog more soon.. Till then take care guys... Adios and sayonara!!

Marvellous!!

Hey guys... If the day before yesterday was quite a bad day, yesterday was just simply superb.. Yes it was just SUPERB!! Everything went on as planned.. As usual, I woke up in the morning to confirm with my friends how we were going and finally we went to Ipoh by my teacher's car.. The exhibition was held in Dewan Cempaka Sari, Kompleks Silveritage Galleria, Medan Gopeng.. haha.. Quite a long name eh.. We went with a hope to gain some informations about the IPTAs in Malaysia.. Somehow, there was only four or five IPTS there.. Last year was much much much more better and it was held it in a four star hotel.. haha.. I guess the students this year are not that lucky.. haha.. No offence guys..=P..

So while the school students were busy browsing through the phamplets and applying for the colleges, we decided to go to McD which was a walking distance from the complex.. It was scroching hot that time and the traffic was quite heavy.. And we took quite some time eating there.. After that, my teacher called as we were sort of late... We planned to go Jusco after that to watch a movie.. Once a again, my kind and lovely teahcer (haha) fetched us and dropped us at Jusco.. We were rushing as there was only half an hour left for the movie to start.. Thinking the tickets might be sold out, we have to run straight away to the cinema.. And guess wat... There was still a lot of tickets.. Maybe it was because it was a working day and schooling day as well.. So we booked tickets for the movie The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.. The movie was nice and the storyline was interesting.. Its just that the movie was sort of dragging in the middle and in the end.. I was dying to wait for it to end.. Haha.. Most probably because I was worried that we couldnt catch a bus back home as we had to come back by bus... Overall, it was nice..

We managed to catch a bus although it was raining (the part i hate the most).. haha.. What was irritating was the lady who was the conductor of the bus was keep on nagging non-stop.. From the time we stepped into the bus until we reach the bus station, she didn't stop talking... I was so annoyed by her.. Haihzz.. After that we took another bus to reach Kampar.. Putting it in a nutshell, the whole journey was tiring and exhausting but we enjoyed ourselves as much as we could.. Did we? Maybe not that much as there was only three of us.. haha.. Hope to have a trip after this but that depends to my result.. Haha.. SPM result will be out next week and that would determine my life and freedom as well.. Haha.. OK then.. Dont know what else to write.. Write more soon.. Until then.. Tc everyone.. Chiowzz!!!

Bad Day!!!

Hey guys.. Hmmm.. I kind of not in the right mood but just writing to split it out.. It has been a very bad day for me.. The handle of the massage chair somehow broke when I tried to pull it.. It was kind of stuck and so I have to pull it harder.. And the result is the handle is now being alone by not attached to the massage chair.. I knew I'm so dead today.. Haihzz.. It wasnt my fault because I have to pull it harder anyway to get the backrest up.. To add to that, my plate where the was rice and fried egg on it somehow fell down and everything was all over the floor.. I was so tensed up by that and I didn't even eat.. Lost my appetite that instance.. Hmmm... I thought that I should just sit down and do nothing in order to avoid unwanted things happening again but I guess its my luck to have things happen the way I don't want it to be..

We planned to go to an education fair tomorrow.. Somehow once again things are not going the way we planned.. We tought of taking a lift from my teacher and after that go to Jusco.. But my teacher wanted to send a boy with us back thinking that we will go back home right after the exhibition.. Forget to mention that we have to go back home by bus and our teacher wants us to be with that boy so that she is not worried that anything will happen to him.. But we so much wanted to Jusco and so we planned to send that boy back with his sister (our classmate as well).. And to get his sister to follow us was such a Herculean task.. Somehow our efforts were in vain..

Her father didn't allow her for no reason.. I find it so nonsensical and ridiculous.. I'm sorry I'm using this kind of words but the conditon just tensed me up.. Her father asked that boy to come back alone which makes us and my teacher worried as well.. If anything happens to him(*touchwood*) we are to be blamed and guilt will haunt us for life.. My teacher is tensed up as well and my friends are hoping to go to the exhibition and not to forget Jusco but the situation is holding us back.. Its like I'm in a dilemma whether to go or not... And now I'm feeling one kind even to ask a lift from my teacher after all this unwanted things happening at the same time.. Should I or should I not ask 4 a lift? Should I just go by bus with my friends? Hmmm.. I'm very much puzzled.. Hope to make a decision soon.. Right now I'm just sitting chatting with my friends and starving as well.. Hoping things to get better.. God bless us all.. I think that's all for now.. Tc guys.. Sayonara!
